Um. I don't think that was meant to be taken literally.

Some time ago, a few of us, Bear included, decided to play a game called Scene It The Disney version. This game basically consists of a bunch of clues played on a DVD and the lot of us trying to correctly answer the questions. Intermittenly, there are ridiculous challenges which are meant to somehow randomly level the playing field. Things like "The player with the longest hair!" will pop up on the screen and that is how you decide who the winner is. Whilst playing the game this last time, one of these same "challenges" popped up. "It's a STARE DOWN!!" the screen declared. All four of us promptly proceeded to throw, literally hurl, our gazes down to the floor. It took us all a moment to realize that what we were supposed to do was have a staring contest. It was a moot point by then as all of us had dissolved into fits of giggles.

IT"S A STARE DOWN!!!!!!!!!

Ouch! That hurt!

As anyone knows who has been with me since the diaryland days, I occasionally have dreams where my psyche decides to subtly clobber me over the head with a battering ram. Last night I had one of these same dreams. I don't remember the particulars but I do know that right before I woke up, I was attempting to get rid of all the garbage. Massive piles of trash just kept falling on me and I was scrambling to separate it into to piles so I could properly dispose of it. People kept hollering at me "You need to get rid of this trash, Amelia! You need to throw out all this garbage!!"

Apparently, my subconscious thinks I need to do a little spring cleaning. I get it, ok?

On a much simpler, funnier note:

The other night, Bear and I were laying in bed, watching a movie, when all of a sudden we heard Mattie go into the bathroom. The next thing I know, I hear a horrible sound, like a bedsheet tearing in two. Then I hear Mattie say "JESUS!" Apparently, Mattie blew himself off of the toilet. Bear and I laughed so hard that the room was silent for a good few moments, but when we caught our breath we started laughing so hard that I fell off the bed. The best part was that Mattie was still in the bathroom, on the toilet and laughing his ass off as well. It stayed like that for a good ten minutes.

Awesome.

F@%# off.

Why the fuck am I so goddamn insecure? What's the point? What purpose does it serve besides making me want to crawl into a hole and die? If anyone can answer this question let me know. I'm dying to know.

summer breeze makes me feel fine

Tomorrow is my final day as a Player, a badge that I have worn with pride for over a year now. It's like graduating in a way, except that I feel like I learned a whole lot more here than I ever did in school. Whew. It's been one hell of a ride.

Bear and I did a little diddy at the late night cabaret, which was silly and fun. We've also spent the past few days in a hotel in our own little self imposed exile from the Inn. Evenings have been spent laying in bed eating salt and vinegar chips and Wheat Thins. I'm probably dying of scurvy at this point but who the hell cares? As I was getting dressed for bed last night, Bear looked at me and said "I feel great." He had this big smile on his face and he was just kinda looking at me and I could see that he was happy, happier than he'd been in a long time. And aren't I the lucky girl for geting to witness that?

I love that boy and I can finally say that he loves me too.

Trying to be different just makes you like everybody else

Ok, I admit it. I am a member of the jaugernaut that is MySpace.com. Although I have become much less dependant on it than I once was, I still log on every now and then to see what everyone is up to. I just gone done doing this and I realized something: I know a lot of people who are absolute fucking tools. I look around at profiles of people I used to know and am suddenly painfully aware that not only are these people still stuck in college, they're lame asses too! Ugh! The humanity!

If everyone could just be more like me, the world would be a much better place. At least for me.
